Jacob Adams suggested an idea (#3429) · Mar 14, 2018 at 08:53 PM · cloudshellcloudshell portal
Hello Quali Team,
We have social login implemented, but think that a custom feature would be quite useful. As it stands right now, when users login with Social Login, all users are put into one large group called "External Users." This is a standard usergroup which gives the users access to the standard domain.
We would like it if could have users added into a custom usergroup based on their Social Login method. For example, if they log in via Facebook, then would be put into External Users AND a special Facebook usergroup. This would allow the Facebook users to have access to the standard labs associated with the domain for External Users but also a custom domain just for this user type.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
Jacob

Hi Jacob,
Thank you for the suggestion, Currently its not in our roadmap to add this functionality to the JWT Social login, if the community will decide its important and vote for this idea we will of course reconsider.
As a workaround i can suggest to add to your login method an automation using our API method (AddUsersToGroup) to add the users post authentication to the relevant groups based on any logic you want.
Regards,
Dan
