Yaniv Kalsky suggested an idea (#3972) · Sep 06, 2018 at 05:39 PM · updateshelldriverscripts
Today, when you update a shell/driver/script, it's just overwriting the previous one with the new file that was provided.
There is an option to download the previous version before uploading the new one, but if someone forgets to do that, and there is an issue with the new version, there is no easy way to revert.
Either a warning to suggest downloading the previous version before an update, or a way to access the previous version/s could help here.

Hi Yaniv, thank you submitting this idea.
If shell's upgrade is of a major version a message is shown. Minor and Patch versions should be backwards compatible and therefore we currently don't show warning. We will consider changing that.
In regard to a way to access previous versions of a shell - all the shell's previous versions can be found in the Releases tab of its github repository. For example, here you can find all the releases of the Cisco IOS Shell.
Alona.
This makes sense when you're using just these shells and not custom ones.
Also, there is no indication to the previous version number, so you don't know which one you should go back to.
