Maruf Yunus suggested an idea (#5338) · Jan 29, 2021 at 03:38 PM · cloudshell
Whenever there is a new patch or upgrade on cloudshell, we need to perform upgrade on all components. This can be very tedious and causes slow adoption on new cloudshell versions. It will be nice if cloudshell upgrades are more modular. Especially, if there is a new security vulnerability on the product that affected IIS/Portal or App server, just release patch for that specific components. This will make cloudshell more secure and customers can more quickly adopt new versions.

Hi Maruf, This is the procedure in the current deployment.
We have started moving to a more modern architecture which is micro-services based, this will simplified the deployment process.
