Ted.P suggested an idea (#538) · Aug 09, 2016 at 04:18 PM · cloudshellportalcalendar
CloudShell Web Portal calendar view for resource/environment availability
Would like the ability to view the calendar from a read-only (and possibly anonymous) perspective on a Domain basis.
Example: would like anonymous users (potential students, with no CloudShell credentials) to be able to view the Training Classes domain reservation schedule without having to have them login.
Example: The calendar view should be read-only view-able ANYONE (not just folks with CloudShell logins) to check availability of resource or topology on domain basis. Calendar view should include details about the resource(s): address, name, visible attributes.

Hi Ted, Cisco DevNet requested a Calendar View option for resources/blueprints some time ago. Never went anywhere. Our end users ask for such an option on a regular basis. This would be a HUGE improvement in the reservation process.

I would like to see this calendar, but making it available without a login should be optional, especially for individual resources. It's an information leak. Even the resource name alone may contain additional information useful to an attacker, like make, model, and physical location. Also the topology calendar can be used to determine potentially busy periods i.e. when a breach is mostly likely to go unnoticed, or a DDoS attack would cause the most harm.
